pinaka-importante proper trainig. maski ano pa aso mo, pag nilason yon walang kwenta din.
may mga nakita na akong aso na kakain lang ng food na galing sa amo

base sa situation

1. Belgian Mallinois (eto alert na, anlakas pa ng drive! much better if may training)
2. German sheperd
3. Rott or Dob, mas intimidating and Rott's when it comes to the looks, on the other hand, Dob's would be cheaper when it comes to feeding, and easier to train...

Waz was right na alert yung pinch same as the dachshund and other small dogs... kaso all they can do would be to bark and get attention... baka tadyakan or patayin lang sila ng magnanakaw...

no doubt. hands down, the belgian malinios is the best guard dog.

agile, very smart, alert, yet friendly to those living within the premises.

the rott & dob, liability if you have small children
german sheperd - over rated
pitbull - better to guard against other dogs and cats

yup, pitbulls are agressive to other dogs only.

most of the time, ni hindi nila tinatahulan ang tao, kahit di nila kilala.

i have a pitbull myself, pag may first time bumisita dito sa bahay, titigan lang nya yung tao then go back to bumming around lang sya.

minsan ginagawa kong punching bag yung pitbull pag wala ako magawa, di naman pumapalag.  ;D

Pitbulls are the best guard dog but they are very good to their master.  You just have to treat them right.  I got 2 pitbulls (one is full pitbull and the second one I think half pitbull and half something).  My half and half is the best guard dog, konting sound lang sa labas, he goes out and check it.  Damn, palagi namang nag-aaway silang dalawa.  I think this year, one of my pitbulls had like 3 surgery.   >:(

OT, but since it slaready been discussed here, to all those who own a pitbull, hindi ba sila "wild" as what the common conception is? i'm thinking of gtting one kasi... i rea din the net na with proper training they won't be aggressive at all but i want 1st hand experience talaga
