starting out a simple sq setup
« on: August 12, 2004, 05:56:14 PM »
ive got a kenwood dpx mp4050 (with dsp) on my corona, stock seps (alpine) and stock 6 inch speakers at the rear plus stealth sub at the back.

i was thinking of what to do first.

1. replace the 6 speakers at the back,  what brand is ok? budget is around 4k. are coaxials advisable?

2. and what about the front seps, i could strech my budget to 6k.

ill think about the amps later....

start with the front seps first imo. with a budget of 6K you can get dls basic seps (B6a) or ps6.
If I were you, I'd look at myself in the mirror and ask, "Now what can I add to my system today?"

i suggest don't change the rear speakers anymore, use the money for your front seps instead , so you'll be having around 10k for your front seps  :)

the [email protected] seems like a good deal. what shops do you recommend that does the cleanest installation?

i've don't want to see speaker wires hanging near the door hinges.

my 6" at the rear, they sound like crap when i tried to put the fader at the rear. do i have to replace it? or its ok na?

unless you are going for Audio/Video, dont think too much about the rear speakers. 90% of those with audio setups here turn their fader mostly to the front speaker.

Rear speakers will play very softly..for rear fill.

you could try intense but heard from the grapevine na di na daw si ben ang may hawak ng shop na ito. you could also try audio logic. both shops are along banawe.

try to source the seps from C3. goodluck!
