Do I get a Blackberry Bold or a Nokia E72? Pros and cons please too.

Fafa, from our experience, the Blackberry has good software but it hangs up and sometimes doesn't save settings. Nokia E72 is like the E71i but with a different fascia. Symbian OS of Nokia is good but features feel outdated, especially if you will use it for web browsing (cumbersome to scroll).For synchronization, both are good and do not have much problems.

Given familiarity with the user dynamics and hardware design (slimmer), I vote for Nokia E72.

There's a new touch-screen with slide-out QWERTY from Nokia (Low end is C6 and high end is E7. Due sa December yata). Or, also due for the holidays, the super-fast Android based HTC Desire Z. I'm actually waiting for this one since it seems to have good reviews despite its bulky size (just expensive, since they are pegging it at an estimated 35k). You may want to look at that also.

there are already some selling the Desire-Z for 31-38k!  :surprised:  it's not as fast as the "normal" Desire, but it combines the best of touch and type phones! ;)

Where did you see them selling it for 31k? And do they offer 0% installments with warranty? yeah the cost is supposed to be that much din naman. they say it's slower since it uses an 800MHZ Qualcomm processor compared to the rest, but the Qualcomm proocessor is rated to be faster (I dunno how. Probably a larger FSB or uses a new type of core technology) than some of the Snapdragons out there.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I went with a Nokia E72 which I got cheap. Didn't really plan on spending more than 15k for a phone.

My only complain is there's no Mac compatibility with the OVI Suite of Nokia. So syncing is not as easy on my MBP. I'd have to sync on my PC pa.

Yeah I forgot about that part where it does not have software for synchronizing with Macs. I;m not sure if Blackberry or androids have, though. Still, that's a cheap price narin. Just last year someone was still selling it at 21k.

Tomas: Oh sa websites pala. Akala ko sa mga shops dito. Those may begray markets with no warranties pa yata eh. I'll wait nalang for HTC to officially bring it here

@RAY

I got the the E72 slightly used at much less than 15k. That's why I bought it.
