Hi samurai_rex. Just to share, I used to have a friend who had the same project as you. Im not sure as to the exact details of his car but it was all black and he got AMG front and rear bumpers, sunroof like yours, and a full VR-4 conversion including 4wd and the 4g63T. Ran on AMG wheels as well. He got a lot of details including the quarter window glass which had galant written on the insides and the rear windshield wiper. He even got all the switches and the housing for the damper settings and other switches on the center console. was a really nice project I admired his car a lot. He could not even drop the car because if he did the transfer case ata got too low that it scraped on normal humps and probably see-sawd the car on monster humps haha.

Nice car btw.

sounds nice! good job on your friend's galant project.
its rare that you see a 6g galant with an amg bodykit.

more info about the very rare euro amg tuned galant:
instead of 4wd, the amg tuned galant has fwd and an amg tuned 170ish hp 2.0L 4G63 dohc non-turbo.
the body kit on the 6th gen amg galant is more "subtle" than its 6th gen galant vr-4 sibling.

btw, just an update on my galant, i am currently removing my td05 16g turbo from a subaru sti. i am installing a bigger turbo.  :evil5:

ah really i actually found the stock gti bumpers more menacing than the amg bodykit but amg was still nice.. from what i know he initially started with the full vr4 conversion then eventually shifted to the amg kit with the vr4 underpinnings. thanks for the link and goodluck with your 6th gen i hope it comes out well please update us. I also used to have a 7th gen galant like yours, well it was actually my moms and kinda maintained it poorly missed that car maybe should have toyed around with it instead of selling it. Lagi blow by makina eh haha

the boost.... its..... ample.  ;D
i havent dynoed it yet... but its alot faster than the other two galants with v6 dohc twin turbos that my mechanic friend set-up before (according to him when he test drove my 6th gen two-toned galant).

yup. the original 4G63T is 2.0L. i had my 4G63T rebuild from the ground up using bigger turbo pistons among other upgraded internals.
