IMO, the front looks similar to the Sorento while the rear looks like similar to the Volvo XC90.  ::)

We all know that Kia is not what they used to be. Good job for Kia. I'm still impressed with their Sorento till now.

The new Sportage looks like a cross between a Ford Escape and Volvo XC90. :P

Must be the new partnership b/w Kia and Hyundai?

BTW these also come with common-rail diesel engines, which, I keep thinking till now, maybe sourced from Hyundai.

AFAIK, the new Sportage will be using the same engines found in the Hyundai Santa Fe and the Tucson. (a 140hp 2.0L, a 175hp 2.7L V6, and a new 2.0L common-rail turbodiesel)

btw, I think Kia and Hyundai are in a better situation (financially) than Mitsubishi.  ::) :P

Yup, and it's also surprising to know that Hyundai will be part of the team that will develop the engine for Evo X.

At least Mitsu could say they played a good card with Hyundai. IMHO kahit i-transfer ng Mitsu lahat ng technical know-how nila they could say that it will be in good hands. ;)
