Problem with Mitsubishi's Automatic Transmission
« on: January 02, 2007, 12:07:38 PM »
Good Day!
Nabangga kasi to pero di tinamaan transmission. Meron ba kayo maipapayo? ??? Thanks.

how long na ba di ginamit yun lancer mo?

you might want to considering changing the AT fluid muna? siguro sa tagal na sya di ginamit, na stuck up na mga loob? or wala na pala fluid?

also, most mitsubishi have a separate tranny ecu for matics. so if you think sa ecu yun, then it might just be the tranny ecu, not the main box.

baka nga sa tranny box.. if you can bring the car to banawe, sa mga surplusan, test mo mga tranny box nila dun or find one thats match sa part number ng box mo.

kung tapos na problema.. then box nga. if not, baka sa tranny nga mismo.

Problem solved! And I've guessed it right! It's all on the wiring. Good thing may nakita ako na "marunong" talaga. I've been through 5 talyers and 4 of them told me that it is on the solenoid inside the tranny and needs to be overhauled. Kailangan ko daw gumastos ng around 7 to 10 thousand para ibaba ang whole tranny and to rebuild the parts. But then I was ready to give up. Buti nalang may nag refer sa akin na magaling sa Binan and I had it checked. For just about 500 bucks it's really worth it na talaga. ;)

Gud day Sirs,
Just have the same predicament, OD or the fourth gear does not engage. Hanggang 3rd. lang sya. I just recently bought the car 93 GLXi  A/T. The owner say's they replaced it before with a surplus. And the bad thing is that I knew all along that the tranny is ok so I purchased it. But when I eventually took it for a long drive using NLEX. Napansin ko masyado mataas na ang RPM ko (3,500 RPM) and I'm just running 85-90 kph. I really would apreciate it if you could forward me the contact # of the shop down @ Biñan. And I'd be more than willing to go that far to get the tranny repaired. And to save me precious time, effort & money.
Thanks in advance!
Armen Ravelo :)

why not sir try having it assessed near your place first? or kay sir Speedyfix's shop muna. they just might be able to resolve it.

sa Quezon Ave may auto tranny specialist ata. And so as along G. Araneta

You could give Checkpoint in banawe corner M. cuenco a try
