Foton Motor Philippines Inc (FMPI) made its presence felt in the recent Foton Global Partners Conference 2023 held in Beijing, bringing home no less than four international awards.
Held over a four-day period from April 11 to 14, the Foton Global Partners Conference, with the theme 'Together Win Future,' was attended by more than 66 Foton core distributors from 55 countries. The conference aimed to unite global strategic development directions and share the achievements of globalization among the distributors.
FMPI was the recipient of no less than the coveted Global Remarkable Distributor 2022 award, a reflection of the company's excellence in sales, service, and after-sales operations. Executives from FMPI were likewise recipients of individual awards, led by its General Manager, Levy Santos, who clinched the Best Individual of 2022—Excellence in Management award.
Also receiving individual awards were Donabel Santos and Marian Penaflor, both of whom were given Best Individual of 2022—Remarkable Contribution awards. Donabel Santos is the AVP for Sales Operations while Marian Penaflor is the Vice President for Finance of Foton Motor Philippines.

“We are extremely proud and delighted to be the recipients of these corporate and individual awards, which are a testament to the hard work and dedication of not just the three of us, but of every single member of the Foton Motor Philippines family,” said FMPI General Manager, Levy Santos.
On the second day of the conference, the Foton Mega Show had its grand opening with more than 100 commercial vehicle categories covering all series of commercial vehicles covering fuel, hybrid, electric, and hydrogen fuel technologies.
With FMPI receiving several accolades, Foton has become one of the fastest-growing commercial vehicle brands in the country and globally.
In 2021, Foton surpassed 10 million vehicles in total global sales, becoming the first commercial vehicle brand to reach this mark in the shortest time of only 25 years. The fast-growing commercial vehicle specialist actually marked its 11 millionth vehicle on the third day of the conference with the delivery of a hybrid Foton Thunder pick-up to Mexico.
