The exclusive distributor of Hino trucks and buses (HMP), launched the upgraded FC9JL7A medium-duty truck model at the Transport and Logistics Expo, which was held August 15 to 17 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. 

The re-engineered FC9JL7A medium-duty truck was designed to deliver a powerful driving performance, better durability, improved ergonomics, and flexible body-type capability. It also boasts a higher gradeability of 45.2 percent, increased resume-accelerate (R/A) gear ratio of 4.88 from 4.33, and a longer wheelbase of 4,990mm from 4,350mm. The fuel capacity has doubled from 100 liters to 200 liters for better capacity and range while the air over hydraulic brakes were enhanced with anti-lock braking system (ABS) for a safer driving. The air-conditioning unit and power windows have likewise been improved for added comfort.

Alongside the updated FC9JL7A HMP also showcased its Hino Class 2 PUV with Centro Cab-less body during the three-day expo. This Class 2 PUV reflects Hino’s commitment to improve the local transportation system through the PUVM program.
