Hyundai Laguna, Incorporated (HLI) together with Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) have recently launched Hyundai Trucks and Buses (HTB) Calamba. The dealership has been cited as the first 'green' commercial vehicle dealership located in South Luzon.

Present at the ceremony were various high ranking Hyundai officials and local government officials. Cheol Lee, Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) Senior Vice President for Commercial Vehicles Export Division and Laguna Governor Ramil Hernandez were among those who led the unveiling of the HTB Calamba marker. The marker is said to represent the dealership’s commitment in adding value to businesses in Calamba through various mobility solutions and friendly dealership operations.

“Our first-ever dedicated Hyundai trucks and buses dealership in the Philippines is a significant step towards our much-anticipated quantum leap... to take the lead in providing world-class and cost-effective mobility solutions to the booming market of CALABARZON,” said Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo, HARI president and CEO.

The HTB Calamba dealership was pre-certified “Molave,” the second highest ranking for GREEEN (Geared for Resiliency and Energy Efficiency for the Environment) by the Philippine Green Building Initiative (PGBI). PGBI is a group of professional development associations that was formed through a shared concern for the sustainability of the built environment, from design to construction to actual operations.
