Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai passenger and commercial vehicles in the Philippines, has officially opened its newest commercial vehicle dealership in Cainta, Rizal. It is officially called the Hyundai Trucks and Buses Cainta or HTB-Cainta in short.
Local businesses, and close to 20 major transport groups were invited to the grand opening. To show their support to the government’s Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP), the transport group signed their intent to order a total of 1,200 units of the H-100 Modern Jeepneys Class 1, Hyundai HD50S Modern Jeepneys Class 2, and the Hyundai Modern Jeepneys Class 3.
“We bet big on Cainta. The East (of the Metro) has grown tremendously for industry and transportation. We now have a hub for Hyundai (commercial vehicles) in the East, completely represented in Sales and Parts in one facility, supportive of the government’s efforts to make sure that the Filipino transport sector is provided the best products,” said HTB-Cainta dealer principal Felix “Bingo” Limcaoco.
“Hyundai commercial vehicles are here to stay, housed in this brand new, full-service dealership, poised to advance every enterprise in Cainta, in Rizal province, and all the way to the fast-growing CALABARZON area,” added HARI president and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo.
Aside from the official inauguration of the dealership and the 1,200 units ordered, HTB-Cainta was also the kickoff of Negoshow One. It is a 3-day mobility expo that showcased Hyundai’s premium people and cargo movers. More so, it was patterned after Hyundai Motor Company’s (HMC) global mobility expos.
