The heavy-duty vehicles and movers from Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) made their presence felt at the 2016 Philippines Bus & Truck Show. Held last July 15 to 17, 2016 at the SMX Convention Center at SM MOA in Pasay City, the commercial vehicle model spectacle was staged alongside PhilAuto 2016, an automotive trade show focused on aftermarket products and services.
This year, IPC arrived with a pair of trucks called the EXZ51K and the CYZ51M. The former offers heavy-duty capabilities while the latter features a 15-cubic meter dump body. Powering both trucks are the latest turbo-diesels developed in-house by the company.
Apart from that, both trucks also have a wide availability of parts to support their operation for numerous years, as well as the competent service ensured by a large network of IPC dealerships.
“The Isuzu brand’s reputation in manufacturing some of the most capable, durable and versatile diesel-powered commercial vehicles in the world precedes its product range. Trade events like the Philippines Bus & Truck Show are an excellent chance for us in Isuzu Philippines to spread this message further. Ultimately then, it is the Filipino consumer who will benefit from these activities,” said IPC president Hajime Koso.
Meanwhile, an additional activity at the Philippines Bus & Truck Show 2016 was sponsored by IPC. Organized and attended by members and guests of the Confederation of Truckers Association of the Philippines, the event carried the theme “Gearing Up for a Safe, Dynamic and ASEAN-Competitive Trucking Industry,” and featured speeches on current issues concerning government policies regarding the domestic trucking industry.
The Philippines Bus & Truck Show 2016 was organized by the AMB Events Group, a Malaysia-based company that holds exhibitions and conferences for major industry sectors. The recent event saw over 250 exhibitors coming from 16 countries, including China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan and Thailand.
