Entertainment city route expanded with new bus stop at SM Mall of Asia
A new stop has been added to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) premium bus service, Ultimate Bus Experience (UBE) Express in order to accommodate more commuters and give them more destinations to choose from.
Yesterday, officials from the Department of Transportation (DOTr), Land Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), SM Prime Holdings Inc. and Aseana Properties Association were present to launch the expanded Entertainment City route that now includes stops at the SM Corporate Office, Hotel 101, Shell Residences, SMX Convention Center, Conrad, Microtel, SM Mall of Asia Entertainment Mall, One E-Com Center and the Esplanade Seaside Terminal.
“The expanded route service not only allows passengers going to and from the NAIA Complex to travel in comfort, convenience and safety at an affordable price, but also maximizes travel capacity in key locations to ease traffic going to the Complex,” DOTr Assistant Secretary for Land Transportation Mark de Leon said.
UBE Express has three routes – Makati, Roxas Boulevard and Entertainment City going to and from the NAIA Terminals 1 to 4 – and runs in intervals of 30 minutes nearly round the clock.
It offers the state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz MCV C120 Low-Entry model that features comfortable seating for passengers including Persons with Disability (PWDs), online booking service, GPS tracking, a mobile tracking app, radio communications, on-board WiFi, CCTV cameras, the exclusive usage of Petron fuel and e-ticketing technology.
