If commuters from the South of Metro Manila are feeling left behind when it comes to the Point-to-Point (P2P) bus service, well your time is now after the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) announced a new route that started April 25, 2016.
The third P2P bus service route to open up now serves commuters going from Alabang to Makati and vice-versa.
Winning the bid to service this route is RRCG Transport which is from Alabang Town Center to Greenbelt 1 in Makati.
DOTC Secretary Joseph Emilio Abaya has opened the invitation to other bus operators to join the P2P bus service while also asking the commuters from the south of Metro Manila and part of Cavite to try out the new Alabang-Makati P2P bus service route.
Currently, the other P2P bus service routes are Trinoma-Makati and Ortigas-Makati but the DOTC has announced that very soon a fourth route will be added, the North EDSA-Ortigas and vice-versa route.
The Alabang-Ortigas and Fairview-Makati route is already on the pipeline pending the addition of more buses to cover these new routes.
