PhilAuto gathered together companies from all over Asia to SMX Convention Center
The recently concluded PhilAuto and PhilBus & Truck 2017 saw over 150 companies with country pavilions from China, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan and Singapore. Aside from the various buses and trucks present during the convention, the show also displayed the latest in auto parts, accessories and service & repair equipment in the three-day exhibit.
PhilAuto and PhilBus & Truck expo was also held alongside the Philippines International Tyre Exhibition (PhilTrex), and the Philippines International Motorcycle Vehicle, Parts & Accessories Exhibition (PhilBike). Together, the organizers, AMB Tarsus Events Group, made the event a 'one-stop' expo for all those involved in the aftermarket industry.
“We bring this event to the Philippines to support the development of the industry by introducing new products, technology and innovations. It is also our hope that this event will be a springboard to new business and investment opportunities,” said Richard Yew, Regional Vice President of AMB Tarsus Events Group.
Apart from the parts and accessories, manufacturers showcased the latest commercial vehicles that could soon be gracing the Philippine roads. Trucks, buses, and other large people carrier from various were layed out on the exhibit floor, providing the perfect opportunity to source new vehicles, parts, and supplies for varying purposes. The exhibitors also featured their high quality products with competitive prices in comparison to imitation products, which could compromise the safety of those around them.
“We bring this event to the Philippines to support the development of the industry by introducing new products, technology and innovations,” added Yew.
Among the major companies that were present included Hino Motors Philippines Corporation, Isuzu Philippines Corporation, MAN Automotive Concessionaires Corporation, Transequip Enterprises, Stonewell, Durabus Inc., Yutong Bus, Cimatech Enterprises, Shell, Seaoil, Sinopec, and Centro Manufacturing.
Apart from major companies and manufacturers, the expo was also supported by key industry bodies and associations in the country such as Philippine Parts Maker Association, Provincial Bus Operators Association of the Philippines, Philippine Automotive Traders Association, to name a few.
