Good news to commuters and frequent users of the Premium Point-to-Point (P2P) Bus service: traveling from Makati to Paranque, and vice versa just became a lot easier, as the Department of Transporation (DOTr) recently launched a new P2P route that connects BF Homes in Paranaque to Glorietta 3 in Makati.
The newly launched bus service will have a few pickup and drop-off points along the way, most of which are located in Paranaque. Specifically, the pickup/drop-off points will be located at Tierra de Maria (Behrouz restaurant), E. De la Rama (across Ministop), and Puregold (across Mandarin Palace). The bus service officially started its operations yesterday, January 27, 2020.
Buses will ply the route continuously from Monday to Friday. The BF Homes-Glorietta 3 P2P service will have a standard fare of Php 100. However, it will only cost Php 80 for senior citizens, students, and persons with disabilities (PWDs). Similar to other P2P routes, the buses will follow a fixed schedule throughout the week. The buses will also be filled only to sitting capacity as standing passengers are not allowed. The premium P2P buses plying the route are Euro-IV compliant, equipped with electronic payment, free Wi-Fi, GPS, CCTVs and dashcam.
With more and more P2P routes being launched, commuters will now have an easier time around Metro Manila. The DOTr also hopes that more routes will sway people into using the P2P as opposed to using private vehicles in order to reduce traffic volume in Metro Manila.
So to the residents of BF Homes in Paranaque, will you guys be using this new P2P service frequently to get to Makati?
