Peugeot's second-generation C-segment 3008 crossover has been revealed. Sporting a sleeker, more aggressive exterior, along with a new i-Cockpit design, the all-new 3008 is the first of Peugeot's upcoming new SUV range.
Starting with the exterior, the 2017 3008 now conforms to the brand's current design philosophy. The front fascia takes styling cues from the 308 and recently refreshed 2008 It gets the signature headlights, Lion emblem and smiling grill. Compared to the first generation 3008, the new-generation model now has a more crossover profile thanks to the redesigned shape. The rear, on the other hand, gets claw-like taillights, new tailgate, roof-mounted spoiler and a wide rear bumper.
Inside, the new 3008 now features Peugeot's new-generation i-Cockpit interior which was revealed last month. There will be a range of gasoline- and diesel-powered engines that will be available for the 2017 3008 though Peugeot has yet to detail them. However, the company did state they are all Euro6 compliant and will roll on Ultra Low Rolling Resistance tires for better fuel efficiency.
