Tricked-out Nissan March Midnight Edition to debut in Sao Paolo
Nissan reveals the one-off March Midnight Edition ahead of the 2016 Sao Paolo Motor Show

The 2016 Sao Paolo International Motor Show will see Nissan debut a unique take on the March (also called Micra) hatchback. Called the Midnight Edition, the one-off was made possible by Nissan Design Estudio Rio and gives the hatchback a sporty makeover along with a distinct two-tone black and red paint job.
Immediately apparent on the hatchback is the prominent front end. It gets a more aerodynamic front bumper that is dominated by a large air intake. The V-Motion grill also gets some minor tweaks, with the honeycomb and V designs getting a black finish.
The roof, pillars, side mirror caps and foglight trim pieces are all finished in black, providing a stark contrast to the predominantly red exterior finish. It is then complemented by a set of multi-spoke alloy wheels finished in gloss black and the smoked headlights.
Images of the interior were not provided but it is highly likely that the cabin also gets the same red-black treatment.
It's unclear whether the March Edition will become a limited model.
The current March however, will soon be replaced by a new generation model. Nissan already previewed it back in 2015 with the Sway concept. Beyond that, Nissan claimed that the Sway concept also previews the hatchback designs of future models.
