It seems the all-new ES will not be the only vehicle Lexus Philippines is set to launch in the latter half of 2026. The automaker has already confirmed that the next-generation ES will be available in both EV and HEV variants. However, their next offering will serve as the high-performance version of the RZ crossover SUV.

Yes, the brand already offers the RZ 300e and the RZ 450e EVs, which are selling for PHP 4.358M and PHP 5.238M, respectively. But Lexus believes there's still room for an even more powerful version that delivers AWD thrills without the carbon guilt.

After getting EV recognition from the Department of Energy (DOE), the Land Transportation Office (LTO) has released homologation documents for the Lexus RZ 600e F Sport. It's the most powerful and sportiest version of the RZ lineup and comes with a pair of powerful electric motors.

Based on a recently released Memorandum Circular, the RZ 600e F Sport has a maximum range of up to 510 km and measures 4860mm long, 1965mm wide, and 1615mm tall on a 2850mm wheelbase. The document also mentions that fully recharging the RZ 600e F Sport via an AC charger can be done in just 3.5 hours. Meanwhile, a DC charger can do it faster in only 30 minutes. Last but not least, it will have 21-inch alloy wheels with 255/40 series tires in the front and 295/35 series tires in the back.

In other markets where the RZ 600e F Sport is already on sale, the AWD high-performance crossover SUV delivers a combined system output of 426 PS from its dual electric motors. This allows the RZ 600e F Sport to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in only 4.4 seconds. Meanwhile, power is supplied by a massive 76.96 kWh battery pack.

Going fast means slowing down even faster, and the RZ 600e F Sport comes with huge 20-inch disc brakes and equally large six-piston aluminum monoblock brake calipers in the front. Moreover, Lexus dropped its ride height by 20mm to give it a sleeker stance and better agility while taking on corner after corner.

Since the Lexus RZ 600e F Sport has been cleared by both the LTO and DOE, perhaps this will be the brand's next vehicle launch right after the all-new ES. We're keeping our fingers crossed that our hunch is correct.
