Kia's latest salvo in electric vehicles (EVs) has officially been revealed for the Philippine market. After being announced for the Philippines earlier this year, Kia Philippines distributor ACMobility has officially launched the EV3.

Now serving as the brand's smallest EV offering, the Kia EV3 may be small in size, but it packs plenty of features and an all-electric powertrain that can do more than 500 km on a single charge.

Starting with its design, the EV3 appears to be heavily inspired by its bigger sibling, the EV9. It features a pair of eye-catching LED headlights & daytime running lights, a sleek Tiger Face design, black fender flares, and generous use of blacked-out exterior accents. Further giving the EV3 a futuristic look are its flush door handles, geometric LED taillights, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Size-wise, the Kia EV3 measures 4300mm long, 1850mm wide, and 1560mm tall on a 2680mm wheelbase. It also has up to 140mm of ground clearance.

Propelling the Kia EV3 is a single electric motor that drives the front wheels and produces 204 PS with 283 Nm of torque. Power is then supplied by a 58.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which gives the EV3 a range of up to 511 km, based on the NEDC standard.

When connected to an 11 kW AC charger, Kia says the EV3 can be recharged from 10% to 80% in 5 hours and 20 minutes. However, it also supports up to 350 kW of DC fast charging, which can replenish the battery from 10% to 80% in only 29 minutes.

Open the doors, and the EV3 welcomes you into a high-tech and spacious cabin. What it lacks in sheer real estate, the EV3's interior makes up for it in cutting-edge features and generous interior space. Since it doesn't have a traditional powertrain and drivetrain, Kia was able to give the EV3 a relatively flat floor to maximize cabin and luggage space. The result is a floating center armrest in the middle with a center glovebox to store several items with ease.

Both the seats and the steering wheel are wrapped in leather and are complemented by a power-adjustable driver's seat. It also has dual-zone climate control, 60:40 split-folding rear seats with a center armrest, and a sliding tray on the center console that can hold smaller items with ease.

On the dashboard, the Kia EV3 features a pair of 12.3-inch digital displays: one serves as the instrument panel, while the other is the touchscreen infotainment system. Like almost every Kia, the EV3's touchscreen supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also has a 6-speaker sound system, USB charging ports for the front & rear, a pair of wireless charging pads, and a choice between two interior colors: Dark Blue and Subtle Gray.

For better peace of mind, the Kia EV3 is equipped with the brand's Drivewise suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). This gives the EV3 intelligent driver aids, such as smart cruise control, blind-spot collision avoidance assist, lane-keeping assist, lane-following assist, forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking, rear-cross traffic collision avoidance, parking collision avoidance assist, and leading vehicle departure alert. It also has front & rear parking sensors, a reverse camera, and a safe-exit warning system.

The Kia EV3 is yours for PHP 1.898 million, but the automaker is selling it at a special introductory price of PHP 1.869 million with a limited free 5-year PMS. The special intro price and 5-year free PMS will only be available until October 31, 2026.

The Kia EV3 also comes with a 5-year/160,000 km vehicle warranty and an 8-year/160,000 km high-voltage battery warranty. Reservations for the EV3 start today, September 21, while unit deliveries will begin on October 1, 2026.
