Heads up: Meralco Avenue fronting Estancia closed starting Oct 3
Capital Commons opens alternate entry points for affected motorists

If you're a motorist who frequently travels along Meralco Avenue in Pasig City, we have some bad news for you.
Starting October 3, 2022, a portion of Meralco Avenue (from Estancia to Shaw Boulevard) will be closed to traffic. The scheduled road closure will give way to the construction of the Metro Manila Subway Project.
Seeing that a major portion of the avenue will be inaccessible to motorists, Capital Commons opened alternate entry points for vehicles to pass through. These include Shaw Boulevard cor. Camino Verde Road, Mercalco Avenue cor. Anda Road, Meralco Avenue to Estancia West Wing Basement Parking, and Captain Henry Cor. Camino Verde Road.

There's no exact date when Meralco Avenue will be reopened to traffic. But given that the Metro Manila Subway Project is a huge infrastructure to undertake, it might be a long while before it will be reopened to motorists.
For motorists who will be affected by the road closure, we highly suggest you check other routes to take in order to avoid the unnecessary traffic you'll encounter in the area.
