Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI), Honda’s automobile unit in the Philippines, announces the launch of Honda’s extended warranty program, the Honda Protect Plus Extended Warranty. It is a flexible program that gives customers an option to extend their regular 3 year warranty for another 2 years.

The Honda Protect Plus Extended Warranty program covers all models offered by Honda. Customers who purchase the Honda Protect Plus Extended Warranty will get an additional 2 years of warranty or 40,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. This takes effect after the standard warranty period of 3 years (or 100,000 kilometers whichever comes first) has lapsed.

Honda says this new program gives customers an ease of mind with regards to sudden expenses brought about by vehicle breakdowns during their fourth or fifth year of ownership. Furthermore, vehicles covered under the new extended warranty will be under the care of Honda certified technicians, and be certain that only genuine Honda parts will be used.

Price for the Honda Protect Plus Extended Warranty starts at Php 12,300 for the Honda Brio, Php 12,700 for the Brio Amaze, Php 15,300 for the City, Php 15,900 for the Jazz, Php 19,800 for the Mobilio, Php 22,100 for the Civic, Php 24,900 for the HR-V, Php 26,700 for the CR-V, Php 35,900 for the Accord, Php 39,100 for the Odyssey, Php 67,700 for the Pilot, and Php 87,700 for the Legend.
