The Land Transportation Office (LTO) says it has fully restored its Land Transportation Management System (LTMS) after some technical issues experienced during the reimplementation.

The agency has had the challenging task of restarting the LTMS as the primary and only system to be used in its network of offices nationwide, displacing the legacy IT system of STRADCOM. This was affirmed by the Office of the Ombudsman recently, wherein the LTO was ordered to stop using the legacy system. As such, LTO Chief Markus Lacanilao ordered all agency offices to transition exclusively to the LTMS last week.

The agency’s technical team confirmed on Tuesday that the LTMS was back online after the technical difficulties allowing LTO offices to resume processing transactions for driver’s licenses, vehicle registration, Certificate of Stock Report (CSR), and miscellaneous services.

The shift to the LTMS also means motorists will no longer be charged the PHP 169.06 computer fee previously collected for transactions processed through the STRADCOM system.

Additionally, with the LTMS back online, motorists can log into the portal anytime and anywhere to access their digital driver’s license, manage their profile, view LTO’s driver learning materials, and use other available online services.

The LTO said it will continue monitoring the LTMS to ensure uninterrupted service for the motoring public.
