All-electric Mercedes-AMG E-Class spied testing at the Nürburgring
Production details of high-performance electric Mercedes-AMG E-Class revealed in latest spyshots
Development of Affalterbach’s next-generation electric heavy hitter is ramping up as prototype testers push the upcoming all-electric Mercedes-AMG E-Class around the demanding Nürburgring Nordschleife.

After spotting the electric Mercedes-Benz E-Class prototype testing last week, our spies have captured its high-performance version running with significantly reduced camouflage compared to earlier sightings. The stripped-back cladding offers an undisguised look at the vehicle's production-ready elements, including a far more aggressive front fascia, finalized headlight and taillight graphics, wider tracks, and pronounced wheel arches. Large performance brake discs backed by multi-piston calipers sit behind lightweight AMG-specific aero wheels, confirming its track-focused intent.

Unlike standard electric Mercedes models, this flagship E-Class derivative sits on AMG’s bespoke AMG.EA architecture. The dedicated performance platform allows engineers to distinctly differentiate the car from standard EV offerings, focusing on chassis rigidity, track durability, and dynamic torque distribution.

While official technical specifications remain tightly under wraps by Mercedes-AMG, early reports and industry speculation point toward a high-output multi-motor powertrain utilizing compact axial-flux electric motors. Total output estimates hover in the region of 800 to 900 horsepower, positioning the electric sedan as a direct rival to high-end electric performance machines.
