Back in 2015, the world was rocked by the Takata airbag inflator issue, which affected almost every vehicle around the world. Since then, automakers, including Nissan, have issued recalls for affected vehicles in order to fix the faulty airbags as they can be lethal.

However, not everyone has the free time to bring their vehicles to dealerships in order to replace the airbags. To make it easier for vehicle owners in the country to have the potentially faulty Takata airbag inflators in their vehicles replaced, Nissan Philippines Inc. (NPI) recently launched the service campaign caravan.

Rather than going to a dealership, the Nissan service campaign caravan will be going to you instead. Well, not really to your house, but rather a place closer to you than the dealership. Similar to what the dealership will do, the Nissan service campaign caravan will replace your vehicle's faulty Takata airbag for free.

The caravan will be going to various places across Luzon starting last September 27, up until October 30, 2019. You may check out the complete schedule on where they will be in the list below.

Nissan vehicles affected by the airbag recall include 2008-2014 X-Trail, 2006-2007 Teana, 2008-2014 Grand Livina, 2007-2014 Navara, 2006-2008 Frontier, and 2003-2017 Patrol Super Safari.
