Nissan starts export of Magnite crossover to LHD markets; in PH soon?
Nissan Motor India has commenced exports of Magnite crossover to left hand drive markets

If you’ve been to the Nissan booth at last year’s Philippine International Motor Show, they had quite a display at that event. They brought in vehicles like the X-Trail e-Power, the Z NISMO, and even a camouflaged Nissan Patrol that will soon be launched in the Philippine market.
While the brand’s struggles are well documented recently, the 4th largest automaker in the country in terms of sales could have another exciting new product coming in. That’s because Nissan Motor India has begun exporting the 2025 Magnite crossover to left-hand drive markets.

Previewed in the country back at PIMS 2024, the Magnite is Nissan’s contender in the A-SUV segment where the likes of the Toyota Raize and Kia Sonet belong. It’s powered by a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder turbo shared with the Almera sedan, and is paired with either a 5-speed manual or an Xtronic CVT.

Much like its peers in the A-SUV segment, the Magnite may be small in size but it more than makes up through its lengthy list of standard features. Over in India, the Magnite has a digital instrument cluster, a large touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, climate control, and leather upholstery. Its 205 mm ground clearance is also handy for tackling rough roads with ease.
Made at Nissan’s Alliance JV plant in Chennai, the Latin American market got first dibs on the LHD Magnite back in January. But Nissan says the second wave of exports that started last month consists of over 7,100 units including markets such as the Middle East, North Africa, LATAM, and Asia Pacific region.

While Nissan Philippines has yet to officially confirm the Magnite for the local market, it will definitely be a great addition to its lineup especially if they could offer the crossover at prices starting at the sub-PHP 1 million range.
