All-new Triton Strada will debut on July 26
Mitsubishi Motors is set for the global debut of the all-new Triton Strada on July 26. And just a little over a month before the wraps come off, they give us a glimpse of what to expect in the all-new pickup truck.
The manufacturer released a teaser video of the all-new Triton Strada, showing off some of its design details both inside and out. For the first time, Mitsubishi has shown the distinct LED light signature of the pickup truck's headlights, as well as the pattern of the taillights.
Halfway through the video, there's also a glimpse of the all-new Triton Strada's dashboard. It appears to be a boxy layout, much like how Ford did it with the next-generation Ranger and Everest. There are black and silver accents, plus the infotainment screen looks to have that “floating” effect design.
Another striking feature we've seen in the teaser video is the presence of a Drive Mode and Hill Descent Control buttons that are located just above the rotary switch for the all-new Triton Strada's 4WD system. Lastly, we expect the all-new Triton Strada to have dual-zone climate control with physical buttons, which we presume are located just below the A/C vents.
For now, there are still no official powertrain details for the all-new Triton Strada and we may have to wait until July 26 to get confirmation. But according to reports, the all-new pickup truck will have a new 2.4-liter turbodiesel engine called the 4N16.
