We like the radical new look of the 2020 Hyundai i10
Hyundai's B-segment fighter gets a stylish new design
Known as Hyundai’s humble sub-compact offering, the i10 is a city-slicker staple in the Korean manufacturer’s lineup. And while it does the job of shuttling four individuals and some of their items around town, the current-gen i10 really doesn’t have anything going for it in terms of its design as it’s as plain as a sub-compact hatchback can get.
Thankfully however the next-gen Hyundai i10 may get a splash of their current design language and could get a more aggressive appearance.
This sketch of the upcoming i10 unveiled by Hyundai is certainly telling of the new aesthetic the brand is going for. Soft corners matched with sharp lines throughout the length of the body give the i10 a more prominent presence on the road.
Its new gaping grill which houses a pair of circular daytime running lights contribute further towards its sporty appearance. The blacked out roof and the thick ‘X-shaped’ C-pillars appear to be take after the design of some european hot hatches as well.
Details on specs and features are scarce, but count on the all-new i10 to have amenities such as Blue Link®, Apple Car Play, Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging and a rear-view camera that will all ultimately provide a seamless integration for all your tech.
The all-new Hyundai i10 is set to make its reveal at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
