1st Motul Race Wars attracts hundreds to Clark Speedway
Over 500 drag racers and hundreds of car enthusiasts trek to Clark International Speedway for a weekend of high-octane excitement along with an autocross and car show.

The past couple of years have been uncertain and limiting to most. With the government slowly easing up on restrictions, Infiniteserv International Corp., wanted to give car enthusiasts and racing fans a weekend to remember. The event was also held to celebrate their recent appointment as distributor for Motul passenger car motor oils.
The very first Motul Race Wars attracted hundreds of enthusiasts to the Clark International Speedway last November 19 to 21, 2021 for an action-packed weekend of drag racing, autocross, and a car show.

With over two million Pesos in cash and prizes at stake, it was no surprise that participants rushed to Clark to take part in the festivities.

There were those who came to show off their driving skills as they navigated through the cones of the technically challenging track by the legendary Danny Santiago of the Philippine Autocross Championship Series.

Some went to show off their car builds.

But a whole lot showed up for this - the drag race. It caused a "traffic jam" on the pitlane of Clark International Speedway, one we haven't seen in quite a while. A refreshing octane-filled one at that.

Participants ranged from mildly-tuned Japanese compacts to big block American muscle cars that roared down the straight of CIS.

JCT Racing came in full force with team boss Jonathan Tiu personally piloting his 8-second "Tiunami" AMS Performance Alpha 14 tuned Nissan GT-R - the Quickest Car in the Philippines at 8.774 seconds.

While muted by the facemasks, the smell of burnt rubber, clutch discs, and high-octane fuel was a most welcome scent for many as enthusiasts came together and reunited with friends and rivals who enjoy the same passion.

Motul Race Wars was presented by Sailun Tires and co-organized with Bumper2Bumper, National Drag Racing Championship, and Philippine Autocross Championship Series; in cooperation with Qstarz, KYT helmets, YSS Auto, Alpinestars, Backstage Events, and Rebstoration. Co-sponsors for the event were Decal Republic, Anzahl, and JDM*USDM San Pablo Auto Parts; with AutoIndustriya.com as one of the official media partners.
