Toyota Motor Philippines has finished first race weekend of TGR Philippine Cup

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) recently kicked off the 10th season of its motorsports program with the first race weekend of the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippine Cup (TGR Philippine Cup). The thrill-filled event saw thousands of spectators at the Clark International Speedway as more than 30 racers battled it out on track for the sprint and endurance races.
New for 2024 is the addition of the Novice Class, which gathered winners and top performers from previous seasons of the Autocross Challenge. Using the CVT version of the Vios race car, the Novice Class drivers shared the grid with the Promotional Class, while the Sporting and Super Sporting class drivers battled it out in the two sprint races.
But for the Endurance Race, all drivers shared the Clark International Speedway for 1 hour and 30 minutes of non-stop racing action even under mixed weather conditions.
After all was said and done in the two sprint races and one endurance race, here is the full list of winners:





The race weekend was capped by performances by Filipino band Autotelic, raffles for the public, and the succeeding awarding of winners.

Racing fans can look forward to the second race weekend of the TGR Philippine Cup on September 28, 2024, for more exhilarating action.
