Ken Block to climb Pikes Peak in 1400 HP Porsche
"Hoonipigasus" pays tribute to the Porsche 917/20 'Pink Pig'

Ken Block and his Hoonigan Racing Division are known for building outrageous cars and doing tire-slaying antics in the famous Gymkhana video series.
Some of those were the early DC Shoes-liveried Subaru Impreza WRXs, the Ford Fiesta rallycross cars, and more recently, the methanol-fueled Hoonicorn Ford Mustang RTRs
But this time though, Block and his team are creating something serious – in other words, there's no more “Hooning” around. Ken Block is going for the overall win in the legendary Pikes Peak Hillclimb, and he'll be doing it with a one-of-a-kind vintage Porsche 911.

Intended as the world's most insane Porsche race car ever built, the “Hoonipigasus” wears a livery that pays homage to the 1971 Porsche 917/20 “Pink Pig”.
The special Porsche built by Hoonigan and BBi Autosport features an all-wheel-drive system, and a mid-mounted twin-turbo engine with 1400 horsepower, all while only weighing 1,000 kg. In addition, the car's center of gravity has been lowered, and a GPS height-adjustable suspension was fitted.
Block and the “Hoonipigasus” will be competing in the PPO (Pikes Peak Open) class with the sole purpose of going fastest overall in the 100th edition of the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb, which will be held on June 26.
