McLaren-Honda, Logitech partner up for future developments
McLaren-Honda has partnered up with Logitech to boost technological innovations in the future

One of our favorite peripheral brands, Logitech, has partnered up with Formula 1 team, McLaren-Honda and is now the team's official technology peripherals partner. The partnership comes up after McLaren-Honda considered Logitech as a company that shares the same passion for technological innovations.
"This collaboration was built on traits that Logitech and McLaren-Honda share: technological innovation that help people achieve more, and passion for what we do," said Bracken Darrell, President and CEO of Logitech.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to work with such an iconic team, and in doing so expose millions of Formula 1 fans to our Logitech and Logitech G brands. And you never know what the future might bring,” Darrel added.
Meanwhile, McLaren-Honda announced that the two are already working on exciting plans for the future to work on. The two also tells fans and shareholders that there is plenty more to come from both McLaren-Honda and Logitech.
“We’re delighted to have such an important brand in the consumer technology sector be a part of our team. McLaren-Honda is a team synonymous with innovation and the relentless pursuit of technological evolution, and Logitech shares this ethos and hunger for development to enhances the way we go about our daily lives,” said Zak Brown, Executive Director of McLaren Technology Group.
Given the scarce details surrounding the partnership, there is plenty of room for speculation as to what products might result from it. A possible outcome would be a McLaren branded wheel that would go up against other high-end steering wheels. Another possibility could be a virtual sim racer co-developed by both McLaren-Honda and Logitech to be used by their drivers.
With this new partnership however, we can expect the two to be have something in the works and will be announced in the future.
