Motul joins McLaren Formula 1 Team as an official supplier
Motul will provide the McLaren F1 Team with high-performance transmission lubricants

McLaren Racing today announced Motul, a global company that specializes in the formulation, production, and distribution of high-performance lubricants, as an Official Supplier of the McLaren Formula 1 Team.
With it, Motul will join the McLaren F1 team for the 2026 season and beyond, and will provide the team with high-performance transmission lubricants.
“We are delighted to welcome Motul to the McLaren Formula 1 Team. Motul has a proud history of innovation and technical excellence, attributes that closely mirror our own legacy. We look forward to working together in this exciting partnership,” said Nick Martin, Co-Chief Commercial Officer at McLaren Racing.
Meanwhile, Andreea Culcea, Chief Brand & Communications Officer at Motul, shared that Motul’s partnership with McLaren marks the company’s return to Formula 1.
“This partnership with McLaren marks Motul’s return to Formula 1, a discipline where we have written some of the most exhilarating moments of our history. This is a great opportunity to combine both of our expertise in the pursuit of performance and innovation. With Motul making its return to Formula 1 after 50 years, the lubricant specialist will provide the McLaren Formula 1 Team with high-performance transmission lubricants in the years to come.
