Later this week, the 12-hour Kalayaan Cup is scheduled to take place once again. With that, teams have already started preparing their cars and drivers for the endurance race. One of the podium finishers from last year's 8-hour Bonifacio Cup will be competing once again – Netcity x Hon Arquillo Racing Team.

The team previously competed in the 8-hour endurance race last year with their driver lineup consisting of Jason Choachuy, Daniel Miranda, Keith Bryan Haw, and Gabby Sohu. For the 2021 12-Hour Kalayaan Cup, they have switched up their lineup comprised of five drivers. These are Jason Choachuy, Mark Laxa, Don Pastor, Gabby Sohu, and Victor Buensuceso. Their race engineer will be Mico Vinarao, with Hon Arquillo as team principal, and Bryan Lucanas Netcity, CEO.

During the 2020 8-Hour Bonifacio Cup, theymanaged to finish third overall, driving a red Honda Civic EG hatchback. For the 2021 Kalayaan Cup, they'll be driving the same vehicle that brought them to a podium last year.
Teams competing in the 12-Hour Kalayaan Cup will have their official practice sessions on June 11, Friday. Meanwhile, the race will officially begin at 5:30 AM on June 12 and will take place until 5:30 PM. Drivers will have to brave whatever the weather throws at them within those 12 hours.

Unfortunately, spectators are not allowed on the race track during the 2021 Kalayaan Cup. However, you can support the Netcity x Hon Arquillo Racing Team by watching the online live stream.
