Netflix releases emotional trailer for Schumacher documentary
Trailer of the upcoming Michael Schumacher documentary released

On September 15, the highly anticipated Michael Schumacher documentary film will be released on Netflix. Titled 'Schumacher', the film was first announced in July. However, no details about the documentary were released at the time apart from it being the first film supported by his family. Now, the streaming site has released the first trailer, and it looks both exciting and emotional at the same time.
Based on the trailer, the documentary will showcase the life of Schumacher, from his start in karting up to his success in Formula 1. At the same time, it reveals a different side of the seven-time world champion driver outside of the Formula 1 grid. There are also various interviews with Schumacher's family, including his father, wife, brother and fellow F1 driver Ralf, and his two kids, including current HAAS F1 driver Mick Schumacher.
Aside from his family, current Aston Martin F1 driver and four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel is also included in the trailer. According to Vettel, he looked up to Schumacher throughout his entire racing career.
Schumacher's career spanned from 1991 to 2006 before making a comeback in 2010 and retiring for good in 2012. He claimed 7 world championships, 91 wins, 155 podium finishes, and 77 fastest laps. Because of his achievements, many consider Schumacher as the greatest of all time in Formula 1, even if some of his records have already been broken. Following Schumacher's retirement, however, he sustained heavy brain injuries in a skiing accident.
What do you think of the Schumacher trailer? We certainly liked it, and we'll be watching it the moment it releases on Netflix.
