Toyota confirms Villar City Street Circuit for TGR PH Cup Leg 2
Leg 2 of TGR PH Cup will be held on May 24-25, 2025 at Villar City, Cavite

Toyota Motor Philippines is officially bringing back something we haven’t seen from the country’s premiere grassroots motorsports series since 2016.

The next leg of the Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup will be held at Villar City. And if you’re wondering why they chose that place, that’s because they are building a street circuit there just for the weekend of May 24 and 25.

Of course, the street circuit will be closed off to traffic in a similar way that Singapore does it when they host a Formula One grand prix, as well as those in Macau and Bangsaen in Thailand.

In the first couple of seasons of what was then known as the Vios Cup, Toyota took racing from Clark International Speedway to the streets of McKinley West in Taguig, Mall of Asia, Filinvest City in Alabang, and even to Cebu City.

The new street circuit will be a challenge for not just the drivers in the Circuit Championship, but owners of Gazoo Racing models could also have a chance to experience the street circuit firsthand.

More details about the upcoming street race should be available as we move closer to raceday. Stay tuned.
