hey guys i think my clutch is sliding/slipping.
do i really need orig parts or can replacement parts do the job? or would performance parts last longer and would be able to take more abuse?(kung meron mang available for my car)

my car is a 7g 94 galant vr manual.
mixed driving habits (tipid and kaskasero)

has anyone had the same experience with their galant? around how much would these options cost?

Raymond

I have no idea on how much parts these clutch parts will cost for your car, but from my experience iyong clutch disc at release bearing mura lang, medyo mahal iyong pressure plate.

For the clutch disc you may specify Daikin Exedy para medyo matagal iyong buhay. Iyong clutch disc at pressure plate AFAIK puwede naman replacement, but given the mixed driving style you have, opt for the original parts na.

Ang mahal sa pagpalit ng clutch ay labor since kelangang ibaba iyong transmission.

the parts for the clutch are more expensive than the labor. the only part that will be cheaper is prob the release bearing. hehe!

when replacing the clutch get the FF:
disc
plate
bearing
crank oil seals
axle oil seals

para isang gawaan lang. you might also want to replace the gear oil if it's dirty na.

use the ff brands for replacement:
asco
fcc
daiken
