Just save up on the b16eg.

It's the best kasi bolt on sa  chassis mo. And besides it makes a little more power than the ef. It's pricey thought but for a good cause. Coz once you convert your car the value degrades.

Gotboost, where did you find a b18c na 70k lang? Just curious where you got your price. Kasi parang too good to be true eh. Ung b18c gsr alam ko nasa 100 to 120k ang prices nun.

With a stock b16eg, with good tuning, u could make 15's for sure. With i/h/e cam gears n racing clutch nasa 14's ka na nun kahit may aircon ka pa at power sterring. with the same setup nag 14.9 nga ako sa ek 4 door pa yun. Eh di lalo na sa eg mo.

nukee, what if i get the b16eg but without the power steering to save up on weight. would the streering wheel be hard enough to turn? currently my stock hb doesnt have the p/s and i can bare with it, without the p/s comfort.  are there much difference in handling?
honestly dont want to add so much weight on it....

how much is the estimated price of doing this mods... bulk park figure lang so I know where to stretch my  budget.....  thanks

well, if you can't take it without power steering then go for it. I would take my power steering nga if i could eh... pero di daw pwede sa mge ek masisira daw ung rack n pinion.

Cguro, you should go to evangelista to look for your engine and canvas the price. Then i could recommend you to a very good engine installer.

Mine i got it 2 years ago, package na 90t with installation n wirring na!!! But i don't know how much is it na now.

My suggestions is, if you're not really in a hurry, go save up and wait for the b16eg. Trust me... It's worth it. But if you think you could save up for the type r... Then go...

for a b16eg ubos ang 90k for engine and install. di pa kasama ang wiring.

si speedyfix i think has a b16 from an ek sa shop nya. you might want to ask him about it.

yep, if you want a b16 from the local 1999 sir i can get it for you. ito super sulit. only 19t kms yung tinakbo before sya binaklas. a friend bought the car kaya i can attest to the milage before he took it out
