yesterday, my friend installed a simota filter and tube in his 1.6L lynx. sa hyperparts sha nagpakabit. problem is, after kinabit yung filter and intake tube, yung idling ng kotse naging erratic. yun tipong babagsak sa 500 rpm tapos akyat ulit ng 800. hindi naman namamatayan pero the car vibrates more than it did before. what's wrong? sabi ng mga taga hyperparts ganun daw talaga e. hard to believe kasi most of the cars na nasakyan ko na naka intake kit parang stock lang yung idling.

ah so may mali pala sa pagkabit? is this leak with the MAF sensor?

Sc0oby

yes meron leak sa kabitan sa sensor if i am not mistaken. This is common when we fit filter to lynx/altis/rav4

check the sensor connection. The mazda dealer disconnected the sensor then re-wired it.no problems with it since.
