did they give you a recommendation as to what to do? could be that the iacv cannot control the idling na if the rpm drops when it's in drive. cleaning may or may not solve the problem. from experience, around 70% of the time it can be fixed but the rest of the time the iacv needs to be replaced.

As per you're mechanic, TB/intake manifold cleaning.  How much is the IACV?

speedyfix

brand new is in the 6500 range from casa if i'm not mistaken.

Same here when in D or R.  Changed the engine supports already and change my cracked door sidings.  Still same prob.

These are some of the solutions I haven't applied as per different automotive forums' opinion and mechanics' diagnosis who have seen the car:

TB/intake cleaning
Adjust yun sa dulo daw ng A/T transmission (brake bond ba tawag dun, kung anu man yun)
Change ATF
Timing belt
Air filter cleaning (SRI)
Fuel filter change

Already applied:

Tightened dashboard screws
Timing adjust
Valve tappet adjustment
Change oil

We had resolved this prob on the Familia A/T. Shifting form N to D always gives us that Shake.
The two transmission oil seals were broken and the ATF level was quite low. Had it replaced and no more nginig already. :)
