Altis Suspension on a Corolla?

Sorry if I don't know, but I just want to ask how different a Corolla Altis' suspension is compared to the normal Corolla's (E110 specifically)?

Maybe I would just like to ask if it's possible to retrofit the Altis (E110 and/or E120) suspension on the normal Corolla? Or does that entail an awful lot of work?

Thanks, and sorry because I really don't know.

parehas lang ba ng chassis yun? why do you wanna retrofit?

Yup, parehas lng chassis, E110 platform. Or maybe yung suspension na galing sa E120 pwede ba? Was just thinking of the possibility kung pwede man, and napaparami din yung mga nakikita kong mga coilover kits or high performance springs na mas available for the Altis than the Corolla.

Just a thought. Plan ko kasi mag-acquire din ng Tanabe or TEIN coilovers / suspension kit, and I think mas available yun for the Altis than the Corolla? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Unless if it was just the same... then I can purchase suspension meant for the Altis and install it into the Corolla with no problems...

Thanks for the help guys. Just heard that yung Altis daw ata may different suspension since it's meant to be a little more luxo than the Corolla?

Cheers.

AFAIK, the Altis (ZZE12x)'s suspension is a step backwards from the AE111 and AE101 Corolla. It has independent front suspension, while its rear uses a torsion-beam (non-independent) suspension.  :o :-\

If you're planning to put the Altis' springs on your bigbody or lovelife Corolla, I would advise against it! The ZZE12x Altis is already near-SUV in ride height. putting its springs on your Corolla would probably raise its ride height too!  :nono:

Ah, all right. Thank you very much sir for the info. I think I'll stick with looking for a suskit for the current suspension na lang. I guess the costs for retrofitting and upgrading Altis suspension would also probably be not so good for a tight budget...plus that heads up info you just gave me. Maybe I just thought it sounded entertaining when the thought came by...

Thanks a lot! Good day to AI.
