Whom on his 2nd time battling cancer had lost due to immune system failure.

The wake is at Krus sa Wawa, Bulacan. I'm not expecting everyone to be there. Your prayers for his safe passage will do.

May our creator resurrect my family's beloved uncle Carlos M. de Leon Jr. in paradise.

Thanks to all.

My uncle's remains were buried at Krus sa Wawa Memorial Park last Sunday, March 27, 2011.

He passed away at 71 years old.

Quoting my sister:

i will forever adore my uncle jun. he was no celebrity, he was no politician. he was a simple man. a father to his children, a husband to his wife, a grandfather to his grandchildren, an uncle to us. but he touched a thousand hearts that will forever remember him as "Tatay".

I've always felt proud of my abilities in photography but only at that day, I've found out that there are limitations to what I can take images of. It is not that its forbidden or I will be scolded by our elder relatives but it was within me that I can't even find the strength to press the shutter. It was a reality I was not able to face... until the final piece of soil was toppled over his grave, I could never utter the words and say goodbye to my Tatay Jun.

:crybaby2:

Again, I thank you all who prayed for his safe passage. Let me lock this one now.
