Hey guys, I am currently modifying my mits lancer 89 model, however I'm having difficulties searching for the parts since it is already rare. Im thinking of modifying it to look like mits lancer 1998 model, is it possible?? or if you have contacts on where to purchase parts for 1989 model, I will definitely appreciate it.  :wav:

I dont think there is a way for you to convert an 89 lancer into a 98 unless palitan mo lahat. As in lahat body, suspension, interior, engine, wheels, brakes...

Thank's guys...yep I was advised not to modify my lancer to make it look like a 98 model..  :lurk:
I already talked to several custom body kits maker, gave them the picture which I really wanted for my lancer, Ive seen it in a certain forum and was enticed so I wanted to copy it but with my own version added of course.   :wav:

And I think for the amount of money you will spend for the conversion, you can buy a newer pre-owned car already.

wow! :o   it's a Mitsubishi ELvolution!

such a project is bound to be costly...  :evil5:

if the car does not have that much sentimental value, it would be a lot economical to sell the car and buy a 98 model.
But if you really like to spend on that lancer, I suggest go for OEM set up and not those custom body kits. May labas ang lancer yung GTi.

i would advice against it. it would be a lot cleaner if just went the original route. also there's a certain member here na siguradong magaglit kung i-convert mo lancer mo to a newer model, let alone an evo.  btw, in the cardomain link is that your car?
