guys ask ko lang about the pros and cons of powershift? since i always do this pero gumagana naman sya ask ko lang ano ang magiging epekto nito sa auto?

See you soon guys!!!

Benj

I believe you  risk ruining your synchronizers.
In a world of compromise, some don't.

padagdag na din :) what's powershift?

Powershift - shifting without lifting off the gas pedal

Without getting into too much details, a synchronizer basically allows for smoother shifting of manual transmission. A broken synchro is usually signalled by a crunch sound heard when shifting.
In a world of compromise, some don't.

is it true that there are some who can shift without depressing the clutch pedal?

Yeah it's easy...  You have to time your shifts with engine revs...  Kinda hard to describe using words but easily shown.

Used by truckers but of little value to the automobile driver.

not to mention clutch mo din mabibingo ng di oras

di magtatagal parang sasabit yung transmision mo pag nag shift ka due to the failure of the scynchronizers... :P

Evere since I've been using Speed shifting lang... ;)

See you soon guys!!!

Dukie

there are also certain types of trannies that have no synchros pero usually used for racing. dogleg ata tawag dito (not sure).

you'll notice that this causes tha loud whine sa mga touring cars on tv...
