compression tests and leak down tests can be done by simply powering the engine with a battery, safely hoist it on a portable engine hanger or any available hoisting tool plus you need a compression guage tool to diagnose every cylinder.  in most cases, physical visual inspection of external parts must be done specially sensors and other plastic covered parts like dist. cap w/c have high probability of breaking up during transport.

libre na ba yun pag bumili ka ng makina? o magbabayad pa? saan ba pwede mag testing?

hindi libre kung sa surplasan ka bibili kaya dapat marunong ka tumingin, mas better kung may dala kang mekaniko..

pre pwede ba i drag test yung makina pagka kabit nito kaagad? paano kung nagkatagas pwede ba ibalik yung makina o i-o-overhaul yung makina??

you have to make sure that it can take it before you take it out for drag.

kaya nga surplus eh. di naman yan bnew na may warranty pa. thats why you have to make sure its ok before you buy it. and it doesnt stop there, you have to change timing belts, plugs, oil... then find out kung may iba pang sira.

pano mo ba ibabalik yan sa binilihan mo kung nasira sa "drag test" mo?

You must bring your own compression tester to the surplus engine seller's shop.  The push-in type is inaccurate and you must use a screw-in or threaded type with a threaded adapter that will screw-in the said engine's spark plug holes.  

A good screw-in compression tester will cost you over P3,000 but will last for many years.
