pano ba ito gawin? i saw na puro clips lang around the headlight ng ek. kaya ba ito tanggalin without breaking them? meron pa bang screws dito that i have to remove kasi as of now wala pa naman akong nakikita. thanks for all your help

blackmagic

Hindi lang clip ang nag hold diyan. May silicone seal pa yan. And if you open the headlight it is bound to have moisture in the lens if not properly sealed again. I wont recommend using water or dishwashing liquid and shaking. It just wont clean the lens thoroughly.

blackmagic,
how long pa clean ng headlamps sa inyo? - for a civic

foh

so, what do you have to do to rmove the lens? ???

blackmagic

mojako,
It will approximately take 1-2 hrs. What will take up most of the time is the taking out of the whole headlight assembly from the bumper/car. The cleaning process will just be around 15 mins. for both lights. If you could bring your headlights disassembled from the car, I'd give you a BIG discount.

foh,
I wouldnt remove the lens if I were you. The factory sealing of the lamp will always be the best. I'd rather not risk disassembling the whole thing.

One more thing, there is always a possibility of the chrome reflector chipping away even if you just use the water/soap shaking method. I've experienced this first hand on my own car. ONe possible reason would be that the chrome part is brittle because of the heat of the headlight.

i noticed recently that my PIAA fog lights (H4, the one with high and low beam) had moisture inside.  May leak!  Can you guys remedy this?  How long will it take?  Where are you guys located?  Thanks.

i wont suggest DIY since case sensitive ang sealing ng headlights unless very well experienced ka na sa gawaing ito. another option is just bring it to a shop that does work on these certain type of job. one who does this (as experienced) sa fastlane. (i had my headlight converted to typeR look) you can bring your headlight sa fastlane sa may zapote, they will accomodate you naman kahit honda kotse mo kase pagkaalam ko Toyota performance shop ito. they do a splendid job on sealing headlights after cleaning or coloring them. Sealing is the most impt. when you are planning to dismantle the headlight. mas ok kung ikaw na mag baklas ng headlight and bring it to them. mahirap kase iwan mo buong korse sa shop tapos headlight lang ipapagawa mo, aabutin ng whole day nga pala ang process since pautuyuin pa kasi yung seal. so i suggest morning mo ipasok yung headlight.
