meron akong 94 pajero sabi ng friend ko hindi wala daw tune-up ang diesel totoo ba yun?

meron pa rin,you still have to change its oil,check the air and fuel filter,check the glow plugs if its hard to start and calibrate the injectors etc. kung mausok na,malakas na sa gas and kung medyo himina na ang hatak.

saan ba nabibili yung air and fuel filter pati pala yung glow plugs? meron ba sa mga gasoline station yun?

umm..wala ata,where do you leave?if your around qc,try mo sa banawe,there are shops there who sell parts for mitsus,like motorix,bestcolt or new alpha.or of you leave in pasay-makati area,try mo sa evanglilista or sa pasay under the railroad(LRT).forgot the exact address eh.

what are actually done pag pina-calibrate ang diesel engine??

first timer kasi ako sa diesel eh.. second car ko lang..

1.) Ina-adjust ang injection pump.
2.) Check glow plugs, etc.

palit air filter= better air suction,better air filtration. ok ito lalo na pag madumi na air filter mo
palit fuel filter= cleaner fuel ang papasok, pag madumi na fuel filter baka barado and hirap na dumaloy ang fuel.

maintenance ito para magperform ng maayos ang auto. sabi ko sayo kahit diesel may tune-up e!

kahit nga nuclear reactors ng mga aircraft carrier may tune up din sabi ng uncle ko sa US Navy...

anyway, good luck with your diesl. Mas matibay naman ang diesel kaysa gas, basta maintain it right.
