I'm try to see what is the usual increase people get (annual ito based on performance + across the board), please state what industry your working on.

Hmm, IMHO you're lucky na medyo mataas iyong increase mo. Sa dati kong company, in my one year of stay it managed to gave me a portion of what you just received as an increase.

i'm in IT, my increase is higher

2nd year ko na sa company, sa 1st year ko i got none, another friend who is at his 1st year, got 500 only, kakaiyak...

Used to work for a local company, i get something bigger pa...

You know what, ang outlook ko diyan eh :

1.) Buti pa may increase
2.) Buti may work ka pa at mga friends mo at walang na-retrenched or na-lay off sa inyo.

Good things will come at the right time. I for my part ay di na-promote sa dati kong company for almost three years, luckily, the opportunity to transfer to the number 1 IT company came around, so I grabbed it. May adjustment sa salary oo, but IMHO there's more than a high salary.

Ika nga ng aking boss noon prior to deciding whether contractual or regular, it's versus "long term goal versus short term gain".

Hope these eased up things just a bit.

Ang hindi lang kasi justifiable for me is you get more work, you work hard for it, but pag dating ng increase you get so little...  

lipat ka sa company who would offer you a better compensation lalo na if you feel you deserve it... papantayan naman ng current company mo offer ng iba if they feel you are worthy

amen to that!...IMHO, sa panahon ngayon bawal ang "maangas" (pardon the word)...be thankful for what you have. ...ako maliit din lg sahod ko kaya i adjust my wants & needs to make both ends meet.

sabi ko na nga ba, i had the wrong choice of word...my deepest apology ...actually, nagbe-benchmark din ako sa mga replies so i'll know ano level ko...peace

sori din pre about the misunderstanding...

we get 10% per year. so the higher your pay scale the bigger the adjustment. if you get promoted, you get the 10% plus an additional (18% - 25%) for the promotion. if you jump levels, like from manager to senior exec then thats a different story.  

industry is consumer goods (packaged food).

Supervisory or kahit hindi.

Dito kasi, hindi based sa salary mo ang adjustment, more of flat rate based on performance.  kahit ano pa position mo

which happened? di ko gets...

anyway...like i said...if you feel you are not treated well...lipat na... no sense in being an unhappy employee right?
