Aside from these, what else have you gotten? I rememebr you got quite a few items before eh :)

i guess an exhaust will have some benefits but be detrimental to the noise...

also a boost controller can be installed kaso it might void the warranty.

ei speedy fix how much would it cost me to put an exahaust and what are its advantages

Better breathing with sacrifice sa torque but that depends naman on many exhaust factors.

Design, diameter. :)

Hmmm... if that is the case, I would keep my stock exhaust on a Diesel engine to keep the low end torque that diesels are known for :) Great for city zipping :)

roni17: It actually depends on your objective for the truck :) Better speed? Better acceleration? Better bling factor? ;) Maybe we can help you even further when it is clear :)

We rarely see people do some enginee tricks on pickups here :) But we are glad and excited that Ai really has been able to cater to all kinds of enthusiasts :D

I suggest a boost controller and/or an AFC.  ;)

speedyfix

you can go to your local exhaust maker and ask for a quote.

hmmm... i wonder if an afc can be installed... ???

I think wala AFC application for the D-max.

My best bet would be a boost Controller nalang. :)

diesel peeps, how sensitive are diesel engines to increases in boost? super high compression itong mga engines right so will increasing the boost be easy lang without any other changes?

heard of some pajeros that have blown their engines due to too much boost... wondering what a safe margin is for these diesels...

???

A turbo-diesel does not lose torque due to decrease in back-pressure.  In fact, from a power standpoint, the greatest restriction for a turbo-diesel should be at the turbo and not at the exhaust.  Such allows the turbo to spool faster and improve response.

However, if your engine is not modified, a 4" may not cause a loss in hp or torque but may not register a gain over a 3" system.
