Can someone recommend me where i can have my 2004 Ford Escape wheel aligned? Preferrably in alabang.

Some say mas ok daw yung manual na alignment as against the computerized ones. Is this true?

Also, ok ba ang servitek (sa alabang)?

Thanks =)

for me, ok na ok ang service ng servitek...everything is organized.. gaganda rin ng mga cashier nila pang alis inip.  ;D

kung gusto mo naman ng manual, try JP wheel along president's ave. BF

but how come a lot of people are complaining about the reliability ng servitek?

i've had bad experiences with many servitek branches but the servitek in alabang-zapote road [near SM] provides good service. ok sila though i haven't tried their alignment.

jpwheels is also highly recommedable if you want to go manual alignment. their mechanics are veterans! magagaling at mabibilis kumilos.

pag wheel alignment and camber jobs lang, i choose servitek.  computerized ang service nila. im not sure lang kung may record or ready-made setting sa computer sila for ur application.

suntzu - what made you decide that computerized alignment is better than manual? i have read from other forum boards that manual is much better.....

any technical reason to back up your claim that computerized alignment is much better?

thanks  :)

I recommend Minerva tyre gallery in westgate and Jp wheels.
Counterflow on NU 107,  9-10Pm weds w/ James Deakin and Pacho Blanco.  Debuting on March 7.

for me, the computerized is more accurate and faster than the manual alignment. the "mano mano" involves trial and error. i have no spare time for check-test-drive-adjust cycle.

na try ko na rin ung manual wheel alignment sa wheelers banawe, one of the best underchassis specialists around. pero after 1 day pumunta pa rin ako sa servitek to have it doublechecked, and i saw sa computer na malaki ang difference. so since then, i stick to computerized alignment.

i'll recommend minerva sa westgate...

dun din ako nagpakarga ng nitro sa tires :)

Minerva is ok. They use Hunter Equipment. Medyo arrogant and cocky lang yung mga supervisors and head aligners nila. If i had another good option in alabang, I won't use them.

As for computerized versus manual, I haven't seen any proof that either method is superior to the other. Logic, however, tells me that computerized is better since you measure up to decimals. Having said that, measuring the alignment is one thing but manually adjusting the tie-rods and other parts is another. You still need skill and a steady hand for that.

i highly recommend minerva for their wheel alignment, all of our tires for our cars are also bought from minerva....kilala din kc namin yung owner :) so if in case anyone needs tires and want a good price, pm me ;)

one thing napapansin ko everytime magpapalign ako, the people who do the alignment do not even check the tire pressures!  correct tire pressure is critical for a proper alignment.  nangyari na sakin ung na-align ung mga wheels ko, with 1 tire with low pressure, parang 15 psi lang yata, pag labas ng shop, ang lakas ng kabig!  pero according to the print out, nka align sya.  pero nsa print out din, na ang tire pressure is 30 psi on all wheels.  duh!!

before you have the alignment done, have them correct the tire pressure first.
