Which would make better company cars: Jazz or Vios?

We're planning to replace our current fleet of Corolla XLs sometime this year. Which one would be more practical in terms of fuel mileage and maintenance?

EDIT:

The Jazz in question is the 'Type S' M/T (PHP650,000.00)

The Vios in question is the '1.5G' M/T (PHP623,000.00)

My vote goes out to the Vios base model. Honda Jazz is really OK, the maintenance is expensive. Imagine replacing 8 spark plugs from a 4-cyl. engine?

Other plus factors would be that the Vios has a trunk and IMHO more spacious and practical than a trend-setting Jazz.

same sentiments with sir raymond...a company car should be more spacious and can seat 5 adults comfortably. just my 0.02 cents :)

Sorry, no experience with the Jazz.

However...

Go for the Vios. As mandated by my dad, we are supposed to try out new models of different brands for our company cars. I tried the Optra 1.6 last year and then the Vios 1.3 after a few months. Service wise, it doesnt cost much to maintain, the service is good and we have never had any hassle with the dealer. Performance wise, my sales say that it is a very comfortable vehicle to drive and can usually go anywhere. Gas milage is great and the paint still looks good. The vehicle has gone around the Phils and the tires looks like they belong to a much older car due to wear and tear. On the other hand, the Optra has better looking tires than that of the car. It has been back to the dealer for unscheduled visits several times.
The only difference between Men and Boys is the size and price of their toys...

how about the fuel economy of the Optra? also, what were the reasons for those unscheduled visits to the dealer?

Go with the expendable choice, the Vios.  Its cheap, abusable and expendable.

uhmm.. I didn't say consider the optra. I was asking about why the optra had unscheduled visits to the showroom. ;)

anyway, again I highly suggest that you get the Vios.  ;D

if pang company baka vios nalang ako. it's cheaper eh, both the price of the car and the maintainance cost. if i would get a car for myself though, i'd pick jazz. masmasarap siya idrive than the vios IMO. but then if company car, go with the cheaper one.
We simply attempt to be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy only when others are fearful.
